Destiny: "the events that will necessarily happen to a particular person in the future." The path of life might have valleys, and sometimes dark and cold nights, but the painting try to make point that being led by the one who knows the path will bring survival and be led to the path of coming to greater heights, and higher planes.
Though your beginning was small,

The painting is about that deep trust in Jesus Christ. In the eyes of heaven, no matter how old one is on earth, its as if we are like little children to God. And while we gaze on Him as the Father, everything around blossoms, and we transform into His image of purity.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
