About the Paintings

The blogs are reflections to bring you, wonderful audience, into the soul of some painting artwork and beyond. As the painter of the artwork, I myself find myself limited in words and sometimes in understanding to capture all the essence of the message of artwork because I don't always paint with understanding of final goal or vision of the painting. Rather its an impression of direction to take for the theme of the painting, and the painting can be finished once or over 3 years. The process of oil painting and and creating any artwork for me is form of meditation because it comes from an overflow of awe-inspiring God. The paintings try to be organic and fluid to leading of Holy Spirit, until comes the moment of being "completed".

Psalm 1:2 says Blessed is the man whose delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

Meditating or simply reflecting God's Word, brings revelations and an overflow of awe of God. "Faith comes by hearing, hearing the word of God."

The process of painting is reflection and meditation, from the theme of painting to every choice selection of color which lands on the canvas causes both the artist, and later the audience find ourselves in the center of the artwork - soul immersed into.
