About Oil Paintings

The Oil Paintings are reflections of the word of God, and promises of God and the process of oil painting and creating any artwork for me is form of meditation because it comes from an overflow of awe-inspiring God. . The process of painting itself becomes reflection and meditation: from the theme of painting to every choice selection of colour which lands on the canvas causes both the artist, and later the audience find ourselves in the center of the artwork - soul immersed into. 

At times, the paintings are multi-faceted and are interpreted personal to the beholder, as I myself find myself limited in words and sometimes in understanding to capture all the essence of the message of artwork because I dont always paint with vision of final painting in mind, rather its given to me as I paint along. As is Adventer with God Holy Spirit. I start with the strong pressing on my heart of an impression of what to paint, like sudden passion and inspiration pours, giving direction to theme of the painting. And the painting processes have taken time from simply one sit-down to many years before to be considered completed. The paintings try to be organic and fluid to leading of Holy Spirit, until comes the moment of being "completed".
